Gourd Avenger is made by a guy who was inspired by other custom maps that he had played such as Chrono bashers, prof. grizzwald and the curse of the pyramid.
After playing them custom maps and a few other the developer decided to make his own adventure custom map for Minecraft. The developer of this map recommends you too play with friends as its more fun but you can play yourself if you wish. As with all good custom maps it has a story line to it. This map got really popular after the Yogs cast played it.
You can play this custom map on Minecraft 1.2.5 if you wish, but it is playable on older versions too. After the success of the first custom map ‘ Groud Avenger’ the developer decided to make a 2nd. So you can download and play ‘Groud Avenger 2’. The name suggests they are linked so I suggest playing the first one first as there may be a story line.

- Search %appdata%
- Open .minecraft /saves
- Open the zip file
- Drag the saved world folder into /saves
- Done! Enjoy!
