Features:

Read this:

  • This mod works multiplayer.
  • Copy & Paste Buttons are for the entire sign, not for the selected text, if you want to copy the selected text use CTRL-C and CTRL-V like you would normally.
  • HOME and END keys are respectively Copy and Paste button.
  • You can copy and paste text out of game and into the game.
  • EDIT a sign by right clicking a sign while holding your Sneak key (default SHIFT+Right Click), read below about multiplayer.
  • COLORS work in servers that have colored signs plugin installed, read below for more information.

Installation:

ModLoader is not needed.

This mod should be compatible with everything that does not modify aqw.class (GuiEditSign) and ahr.class (BlockSign).

Windows

  • Download this mod
  • Go to the folder %appdata%/.minecraft/bin
  • Open the file minecraft.jar with WinZip or WinRar
  • Drag all files you downloaded ending with .CLASS inside minecraft.jar
  • Delete the META-INF folder if present.
  • Done.

Mac

  • Download this mod.
  • Extract it to some directory.
  • Go to the directory you just created.
  • Open a new Window
  • Go to ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin
  • Look for a file called minecraft.jar
  • Rename that file to minecraft.jar.zip
  • Unzip it
  • Drag all files ending with .CLASS into the minecraft.jar FOLDER
  • Delete the META-INF folder if present.
  • Rename minecraft.jar.zip back to minecraft.jar.
  • Done.
