Solar Apocalypse Mod for Minecraft 1.2.5

The solar apocalypse is a great mod. The main aim of the mod is to survive. You install the mod, and then craft a Pandora’s box. The box is a indestructible box which once opened will doom your worlds. Once the box is open you have a few days to collect resources, each day the sun will get closer the leaves will disappear on tree’s the grass will start to disappear, things will start setting on fire and lava will appear. It’s the end off your world as you know it. You can craft obsidian glass which will protect you from the sun and lava, or you can venture underground.

This mod was made to be a challenge, and can be used with survival challenge maps such as the 404 challenge. The mod is still a work in progress yet it is very playable and fun to play at that.

How to install Solar Apocalypse Mod for Minecraft 1.2.5

1. Download ModLoader
2. Download a survival map you want to play on
3. Download the mod
4. Go to .minecraft / bin
5. Open Minecraft.jar delete META INF
6. Drag the mod loader and mod files into .jar
7. Done, and try to survive!
