Ahhh… The beauty of texture packs, they seem to never disappoint me. Especially this one, the Traditional Beauty Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.2.5. It’s traditional. It’s beautiful…. Traditionally Beautiful. BlowJoe have created this for you people who love the default Minecraft texture pack.
After you have started playing for a while you might feel that the default texture is a bit too rough and all, and then you go on and look for the fancy texture packs that are completely different. But then from time to time, many people like myself, sort of “missed” the classic, 16×16 original texture pack.
This Traditional Beauty texture pack is very much like the default, but with improvements (dimension wise). Note that it’s a 64×64 resolution. You might be going “Woww, an edit to the default texture pack that’s 64x? Hell yeaaah.” I heard he’s in the works of making a 128x version, plus making it Industrial Craft 2 and Premium Wood Compatible. And it’s already RandoMobs compatible!
I have to admit, that even though I missed the default texture, I’m not a fan of it either. Every time I switch back to it, I could only look for a new one. Not one with edits like this one. I’m not saying it’s not good. Actually, it is great but it’s just not for me. But hey, give this Traditional Beauty a go and who knows, it might replace your default texture forever. 
How to install Traditional Beauty Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.2.5
- Download this texture pack (link below)
- Run> %appdata%/.minecraft/texturepack
- Place the .zip file there (without unzipping)
- The texture pack should now appear in Minecraft (Change texture in-game)
- ENJOY!
