This Modification adds a lot of new stuff to the game. The main new feature is the addition of Scythe’s, different types are added that all are individually unique! New armor sets are added to the game, New weapon sets and brand new items are all added! Enjoy!
What are the main features of this mod?
- The Death Scythe is as strong as iron, but is unbreakable and not enchantable!
- The Unholy Scythe is much stronger than diamond, and it also unbreakable!
- The Throwable Scythe has very high damage, can be thrown, is very deadly!
- The Thunder Scythe is an extremely strong weapon, but has to be charged before use!
The Reaper Armor Set is a good as Diamond but is NOT enchantable!
The God Armor set is just as good as the Reaper, but is unbreakable!
You can use a new feature named ‘The Grindstone’ to sharpen your beloved Scythes!
The Halo’s are items from either Heaven or Hell, when equipped they heal you constantly!
New Biomes include the Shadow Realm and the Frozen Death Biome, both totally unique and different from what vanilla presents to it’s players!

Several Mobs are added to the game and each are specific to different biomes, but one of the most exciting mobs is the ‘Death’ Mob: This is mob is as fast as a wolf, It will try to kill Zombie Reaper, He can attack you with his scythe, only spawns in the Shadow Biome and contains some rare drops!
How to Instal The Death Scythe Mod for Minecraft 1.4.2
- Download Risugami’s Modloader
- Download Kirwi’s Death Scythe Mod
- Go to AppData -> Roaming -> .minecraft -> bin
- Open minecraft.jar with WinRAR, 7-Zip, …
- Drag the files of Modloader and Death Scythe into the minecraft.jar
