TheGunMod for Minecraft 1.3.1

Heyyy Miners and Crafters! Ever feel like bows and arrows are a bit too boring for Minecraft? Perhaps too boring for yourself? Prepare yourselves ’cause TheGunMod by Heuristix will….yeah you know…add guns to Minecraft? Duh. Anyways, what this mod does is that it allows you, the user, to create your own specified weapons of your own likes using an easy-to-use GUI although comes with pre-made guns. For instance, the projectiles mechanics include bullets, grenades, RPGs, and flame. You can customize your guns’ rate of fire, reload time, magazine size, recoil, scopes and others of that sort. Getting excited there aren’t you? Let’s check it out:

First off, you can’t really expect such fancy guns (as this is Minecraft) aaand what it does is basically add a certain lot of content to Minecraft (for those who feel that it lacks of it) Personally, I think it’s a fair alternative to the bow and arrow, the only proper range weapon in vanilla Minecraft. Maybe you could try to find some fun uses of this mod…. just try not to harm little pigs in the process yeh? All in all, a decent mod but has its flaws and there’s still a big space for development. How to install TheGunMod for Minecraft 1.3.1

1. Download and install ModLoader and ModLoaderMP
2. Download the TheGunModClient files, and Weapon Files, GunCreator (optional)(link below)
3. Run %appdata%/.minecraft/bin
4. Open minecraft.jar and put the contents of the jar folder (in TheGunModClient.zip) into minecraft.jar
5. Put the folder “heuristix” from the “dotminecraft” folder into .minecraft directory
6. Open Weapons.zip and put the “guns” folder into the heuristix folder
7. Run Minecraft and Enjoy!
