Better Blocks and Items Mod for Minecraft 1.3.1

There are some things in vanilla Minecraft that really should be in the game, especially for people that create intricate and detailed maps.  Stairs have been upgraded already, and upside down stairs look really nice but they really should allow more blocks to be stairs.  Would you like to see obsidian, mossy cobble or even ice used as half blocks and stairs?  Imagine: an ice cavern, huge icicles and a chilling, snow covered walkway to an ancient temple with superb detail.  This is simply one idea for even a single different type of staircase!  There are other cool things in this mod, including many different new types of stairs, better stair alignment (like automatic corner stairs), sideways logs (for epic trees or log piles!), better fences and fixed recipes for survival mode.  This whole mod feels like it is part of vanilla and hopefully Mojang will add items from Better Blocks and Items mod soon!

If you are a builder and crave better blocks and less placement problems with stairs or fences, this is a must have!
