Minecraft, at its core, is a building game. Every time minecraft has an update, builders out there will cross there fingers hoping for a new building option. A new block, a new function, anything. Well, on the odd occasion a mod will come out with such a great idea, mojang is bound to see it and be inspired. The Fancy Fences mod by Koopinator is just such an awesome addition, anything I say here will be an under statement.
The Fancy Fences mod adds a variety of new walls/fences into the game. Things such as: Cobblestone walls, Sandstone, brick, etc etc. These walls work just like fences, in the sense that they’re one and a half block high so you can’t jump over them. These new fences can be quite useful, but mostly very good for design. I’m sure many great builders out there will build magnificent designs using these new blocks. You can create proper stone walls, pillars for ancient temples or just nice stands for some glowstone. Get creative!
The Fancy Fences mod is a small, yet huge addition to the game. In fact, you’ll be happy to hear that mojang has taken this idea and put cobblestone walls in the latest 1.4 snapshot! So we’ll soon be seeing some of these walls in the vanilla game, very exciting. The image above is just one example of what is possible with this extraordinary mod.

How to Install Fancy Fences Mod for Minecraft 1.3.2
- Download and install Modloader.
- Download the Fancy Fences mod.
- Drag the contents of the .Zip into your minecraft.jar
- Make sure your META-INF is deleted.
- Enjoy!
