This mod transfers the basic functionality of the Camera Studio Mod to Minecraft 1.8. This mod is addressed to anyone who wants to make a video in-game and have an in depth control over the camera displacement. It allows you to create a path that the player will automatically follow, control what the player sees along this path, and set up the player’s precise speed through a global timing for his traveling, all this through commands.
Features:
- Recording Timelapses
- Cinematic Movies
- Smooth Camera Paths
Important information:
This mod will not allow you to cheat in any way. If you want to use this mod on a server, you’ll have to be in Gamemode 1 and have the permissions to use the /tp command – otherwise the server might kick you.
How to use:
Camera Paths
To add points to the camera path, type /cam p
Alternatively, you can use the P key as a shorter way to add a point to the path.
If you want to insert the new point at a specific location of the camera path, for example as the second point, type /cam p [index]
To remove all points, type /cam clear
If you only want to remove a specific point, for example the second point, type /cam clear [index]
To teleport to a point on the path, type /cam goto [index]
To start travelling the camera path, type /cam start [duration]
where the duration is in the format 1h10m15s.
By default, the camera path is travelled smoothly (spline interpolation), but if you want to travel it in a straight line, you can use /cam start [duration] linear
To interrupt a travel that is in process, enter /cam stop
If you need any help ingame, you can show a help menu using /cam help
Please note that you need OP if you want to use the PixelCam Mod on a server, and Cheats enabled to use it in your Singleplayer world.
Camera Tilt
With the PixelCam Mod, you can tilt the camera.
Holding the J key tilts the view counter-clockwise, the L key tilts the view clockwise.
By pressing the K key, you can reset the camera tilt.
By holding the Ctrl key (⌘ on Mac) while tilting the camera, you can tilt more precisely.
All of these keybindings can be customized in the Control settings.
Path Visualization
To toggle the path visualization, press the O key. The green line represents the Camera Path with spline interpolation, the red line with linear interpolation.
