Kake’s Insane Terrain Generator adds a load of new world types that create amazing and creative landscapes, ranging from a desert oasis to a frozen landscape to nightmarish floating islands! In the ‘default’ Kake terrain, which includes thick, dense forests and overhanging terrain, jungle canopies and massive trees. There is also a handful of others to choose from. A very cool world type includes a frozen wasteland, covered in a thick layer of snow and ice, lending itself to recreating a viking themed village perhaps? Other terrain types included “distorted default”, “nightmare”, “oasis”, “small biomes”, “arch mountains”, “dread forests” and “tropical”. These are fairly self explanatory besides nightmare and dread forests. Nightmare is like visiting The End, but with bizarre floating islands and dense, black fog. Dread Forest is much like standing on top of needle point mountains, very steep and treacherous terrain awaits. There is much to be seen in Kake’s Insane Terrain Generator mod!

How to Install Insane Terrain Generator Mod for Minecraft 1.3.2
- Download and run MCPatcherHD
- Download and patch Modloader with MCPatcherHD (this will install the mods folder)
- Download and patch Optifine with MCPatcherHD
- Download Kake’s Terrain Generator zip with MCPatcherHD and run Minecraft
- Create new world and select from any of the new terrain types under “more options”
