Hello fellows! What we have here is another Mod from Risugami, the developer of the essential Minecraft Mod — ModLoader and this one is called Light Sensor. I’m pretty sure that there are many of you out there who is already using this. What this mod does is basically detecting light to a certain level (specifically 12) before turning on (powers redstone). That’s all. Now you have a stream of ideas for the uses of this tech here flowing into your head right? It’s a simple yet very useful mod which lets you avoid the complexity of building a whole redstone machine to detect light. It is crafted with five redstone powder in a + shape, with four iron, one in each corner. Lets go ahead and see how it works:
As you can see, it works very well with automated lighting systems. I am also a user of this mod and one of the many things I’ve used this for is gates and doors which I have them opened during the day and closed at night. I am sure you guys out there can figure out more uses for this. All in all, the Light Sensor a very useful mod from a famous mod developer Risugami…. so what else can go wrong? Do yourself a favor and try this mod out
